Our Audience Marketing team is hiring a Senior Lead position to lead marketing for our Retail and CPG
verticals. This role will be responsible for aligning with sales, product marketing, and insights to create
data-backed business narratives and marketing materials to raise awareness and drive adoption of Reddit’s
advertising solutions among advertisers.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thought leader with strong analytical skills that enable them to use data
and insights to inform storytelling, develop effective go-to-market campaigns, and measure success.
Excellent communication and project management skills, and a track record of creating marketing content
and sales collateral that drives results, are a must. The candidate’s experience must demonstrate the ability to
partner effectively with Sales teams to co-create the roadmap for success, and collaborate with
cross-functional teams and stakeholders (locally and globally) to find solutions and scale marketing
messages. Significant experience crafting and successfully executing a multi-channel go-to-market
campaign is required.
Location: Remote-US (preferably commutable to one of our offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York)
Responsibilities:
- Create market-leading stories that drive the Retail business
- Leverage Reddit-unique insights for both client-level conversations and thought leadership
- Build stories that move our largest prospects and customers
- Develop market research with industry partners
- Lead marketing strategy for Retail and CPG, including identifying opportunities for scaled marketing programs, key industry events, and new narratives/content to bring our Reddit for Business message, solutions, and products to market
- Partner with Sales to create solutions that address customer challenges and turn them into opportunities via insightful content that drives results
- Leverage data/insights from the Insights team and from self-service tools to tell the story
- Partner effectively with cross-functional teams to develop content and ensure Reddit for Business messaging is integrated, actionable, and consistent
- Contribute to the broader business marketing roadmap and collaborate with marketing peers to support campaigns targeted to current and prospective advertisers
- Develop sales collateral including vertical narratives, presentations, pitch decks, playbooks, and other materials to support business growth
- Write marketing content for organic and paid media, webinars, blog posts, industry events, and whitepapers
- Evaluate and report on content and campaign metrics and iterate based on results
- Understand the needs of marketers in the retail industry and what is required to influence digital investment decisions
Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years of B2B marketing experience, within Retail accounts or agency relationships, and a strong track record partnering with Ad Sales to create executive-level collateral
- Experience leading GTM strategy in the US, with exposure to international markets and deep knowledge of digital/social media marketing
- Senior experience at ad platform
- Proven ability to develop impactful B2B content across organic and paid channels, with proficiency in analytics tools like GlobalWebIndex and Comscore
- Familiarity with Canva and a passion for or understanding of Reddit’s platform is a plus
Reddit is seeking an Engineering Manager as a technical leader for our Small to Medium Business (SMB) focused Advertiser Growth efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for developing the technical foundation for mission critical product pillars, collaborating across the company to deliver outcomes for the Reddit Ads Business, and leading the team responsible for acquiring new advertisers on Reddit.
This role provides an opportunity to partner closely with cross-functional teams such as product, design, marketing, data science, UX and Sales, and, ultimately, to make a large number of small to medium businesses successful on Reddit.
As a leader for all of these efforts, you will set the engineering strategy for building iteratively, shipping quickly, testing rigorously, and adding step-change capabilities towards our ambitious goals of multiplying many times over our number of monthly active advertisers. Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of engineers across the stack, including mobile, frontend, and backend
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to discover and build new Ad functionality and products. Be a thought leader in this process.
- Maintain and enhance the team culture of fast iteration, experimentation, and collaboration.
- Ensure the long term success of both the product and the growth of our people
- Participate in and be the ultimate owner of the full development cycle: product ideation, design, development, QA, experimentation, analysis, and launch. You’ll be brainstorming, giving feedback on design docs, product specs and mocks, and generally helping out wherever is needed.
- Collaborate with multiple teams across the entire company to make SMBs successful on reddit
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- Engineering leadership experience working across multiple teams
- At least 2 years of experience working on Ads products and/or growth engineering
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering
- Experience coordinating large-scale, cross-functional efforts that span different teams, and driving alignment
- Experience working with multiple teams in product & design
- Knowledge of full stack product development practices (Frontend, Mobile, Backend)
