Role Description:
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud Automation Engineer with automation scripting skills to design, implement, and maintain automated solutions for cloud-based infrastructure at multiple classification levels. As a Cloud Automation Engineer, you will provide SME-level input on technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, PowerShell DSC, Ansible, Azure Automation, and other related products. You will be working on a team alongside cloud architects, cybersecurity professionals, and network engineers to automate and troubleshoot the secure migration and systems administration of cloud workloads at all classification levels. We need someone who has the ability to break a problem into solution requirements and design a solution that meets those requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Design and implement automated solutions for cloud-based infrastructure and automate, optimize and drive efficiency
- Monitor the automated build and continuous integration process to ensure efficient build execution and facilitate the resolution of build/release failures
- Create and manage container clusters and application deployments
- Run and troubleshoot Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaC) to automate the deployment and migration of cloud infrastructure and data
- Meet with customers and collaborate with various teams to understand mission requirements, then create a cloud-based infrastructure solution that meets mission requirements
- Participate in project planning and develop project documents by identifying risks and dependencies
- Manage escalations, analyze situations, and coordinate appropriate resources to resolve issues
- Monitor performance, diagnose errors, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary changes to optimize system performance
- Manage complex cloud environments, including security measures for protecting data
Here's what you need:
- 5 years’ concurrent experience with architecting IT solutions using DevOps methodologies in AWS
- 5 years’ experience with enterprise automation, integration, and modern software engineering practices
- 3+ years’ experience using Infrastructure as Code and various associated scripting technologies
- 3+ years’ experience with hands-on experience with Configuration Management Tools – Ansible (required), Build Systems, Infrastructure Orchestration Tools, Container Orchestration Technologies, Logging Systems, and Monitoring Systems
- Understanding of security fundamentals at the hypervisor and operating system levels
- Expertise debugging networking/connectivity problems in a complex technical stack
- Significant cloud engineering and test-driven, full-stack development experience
- Proficiency with multiple development languages – Python, JavaScript, Bash, Java, etc.
- A firm grasp of API development, Micro-service architectures, API Gateways, and SOA frameworks
- Meet DoD 8570/8140 Certification Requirements for IAM Level II
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in SAP and Collateral Information Systems (IS)
- Amazon Solutions Architect Professional certification
- Experience with multi-cloud environments, inclusive of Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform and Azure cloud environments
- Technical certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GSLC, CASP, ITIL, CEH, Hashicorp Packer Provisioning
Security Clearance:
- An active TS/SCI clearance required

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
