The work:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Tableau Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, business intelligence, and data analysis, with extensive experience using Tableau to create insightful and actionable dashboards and reports. As a Software Tableau Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality visualizations that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to support business analytics and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Create and optimize data models, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can be used to improve business performance.
- Implement best practices in data visualization to ensure dashboards are intuitive, user-friendly, and effectively communicate key insights.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Stay up to date with the latest Tableau features, updates, and industry trends to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of visualizations.
- Provide training and support to end-users to help them effectively use Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to ensure seamless data integration and availability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for Tableau development.
Here's what you need:
- Active Secret Security clearance required
- 5 years' experience designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports to support business analytics and decision-making processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online.
- Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred experience:
- Experience with other data visualization tools such as Power BI or QlikView.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Certification in Tableau (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Tableau Desktop Certified Associate).

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
