The Senior Data & Reporting Analyst, Finance Systems plays a critical role in transforming how Finance operates through automation, data integrity, and relevant insight. You'll design the data foundations that power decision-making across Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, and Tax.
Our current ecosystem includes NetSuite ERP, NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB), Coupa, Zip, Vertex, and BigQuery with Looker, and continues to evolve.
This is a hybrid role working from our NYC office 3 days per week. You will report to the Senior Manager, Financial Systems.
You'll Get To...
- You will design scalable data models and frameworks that ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis
- Vet reporting requests and document requirements to ensure agreement and transparency
- Develop and automate reports and dashboards in Looker (or similar tools) that deliver applicable insights for Finance and business leaders
- Validate data accuracy and integrity through testing, documentation, and performance optimization
- Optimize for performance and scale by improving query efficiency, model design, and reporting usability
- Support audit and compliance efforts by maintaining, traceability, and documentation of data flows
- Contribute to Agile delivery through sprint planning, backlog refinement, and planning sessions aligned with the Finance Systems roadmap
Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in data engineering and financial analytics supporting Finance or Enterprise Systems
- Proficiency in SQL and experience building ETL processes within cloud data warehouse (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift)
- Experience designing and maintaining dashboards in Looker, Power BI, or Tableau
- Familiarity with ERP and EPM systems such as NetSuite, Workday, Oracle, or SAP
- You have worked in Agile environments
- Experience documenting and explaining complex problems and solutions
- Understand how to resolve conflicting priorities and deliver high-quality work independently
- You will have an interest in or exposure to AI, automation, or predictive analytics use cases in Finance

Cash Compensation Range: $126,500 - $203,550 USD
The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.
In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
