About the Role

As the Full Stack Engineer Tech Lead on the Growth team at Augment, you’ll lead the engineering strategy and execution for user acquisition, retention, and monetization. In this role you’ll help guide cross-functional teams, shape product direction, and drive measurable impact on our growth trajectory.

In this role, you will:

  • Help lead technical strategy and execution for growth initiatives across the full stack—from backend systems to frontend experiences.
  • Work closely with product, design and marketing to ideate, implement, and iterate on growth experiments and scalable systems that drive user and revenue growth.
  • Mentor and unblock engineers on the team, setting engineering best practices, ensuring technical excellence, and helping scale our capabilities.
  • Translate growth opportunities into concrete technical solutions that align with company priorities and user needs.
  • Measure, analyze, and communicate the impact of growth features and experiments, using insights to inform future strategy.

You have:

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in full-stack or frontend development
  • Proven experience as a technical lead, successfully guiding high-impact projects from idea to launch, especially those tied to growth or business outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to balance speed and quality in a fast-paced, experiment-driven environment
  • Strong product and business intuition—you can connect technical decisions to user and revenue outcomes
  • A track record of working closely with cross-functional partners, including marketing, design, and data
  • Enthusiasm for data, experimentation, and solving ambiguous problems with high ownership
  • Passion for the potential of AI-powered development tools

Bonus if you bring:

  • Experience driving monetization efforts for developer tools, AI platforms, or SaaS products.
  • Background in startup or high-growth environments.
  • Passion for AI and building tools that empower developers.
  • Comfortable talking to users and incorporating feedback into product iterations.
