ABOUT THE TEAM:

The Department of Platform Efficiency (DOPE) is an elite engineering team reporting directly to Anduril's C-suite. We strategically instrument and analyze our 20+ business lines and software platform organization to provide data-driven direction to Business Heads and executive leadership. DOPE is empowered to rapidly identify and solve critical organizational and technical challenges through rapid experimentation. Our work spans multiple domains including data engineering (Flyte, PySpark, Foundry), build systems, cloud & vehicle infrastructure, developer tooling, and analytics. On this team, you'll gain comprehensive visibility across all business lines, collaborate regularly with Anduril leadership, and develop expertise across our entire technology stack while delivering high-impact tools, products, and infrastructure solutions.

WHAT YOU’ll DO:

Conduct deep-dive investigations across the organization to identify efficiency opportunities and eliminate waste
Lead initiatives to transform the status quo through rapid, data-driven experimentation
Design and implement robust data infrastructure to effectively instrument our diverse business lines
Analyze complex datasets and create compelling visualizations for executive leadership and company-wide insights
Partner with Business Heads to define and track critical KPIs that drive strategic decision-making

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong Python experience for creating, analyzing, and visualizing complex datasets
Exceptional systems thinking with meticulous attention to detail, outstanding communication, and project management skills
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to unfamiliar technologies across multiple domains
Self-directed, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and craft innovative solutions. The roadmap is ours to create and execute on.
Passion for uncovering inefficiencies and optimizing systems at scale.
Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in one or more specialized areas: Data Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, Build/CICD Systems, Nix, or Kubernetes
Proficiency with TypeScript/React for developing lightweight UI solutions
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
Proven track record in fast-paced startup environments

US Salary Range$168,000—$252,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
