You Are:
As the Amazon Connect Developer, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers, overseeing the development of our CCaaS solution, and contributing hands-on to critical aspects of our infrastructure and codebase. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex AWS environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of 3-4 developers, conducting daily stand-ups and team meetings
- Review and approve merge requests in GitLab, ensuring code quality and best practices
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Create and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Create and update Amazon Connect contact flow and flow modules
- Develop Lambda functions and associated code in Python
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Amazon Connect and other AWS services
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather and refine project requirements
- Contribute to the design and implementation of Amazon Connect contact flows
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Here's What You Need:
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong proficiency in Python programming
- Extensive experience with Git and GitLab
- Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and experience with Terraform
- Familiarity with AWS services, particularly Lambda, IAM, and DynamoDB
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Bonus Points If You Have:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer certification
- Experience with Amazon Connect or other CCaaS platforms
- Familiarity with additional AWS services such as Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, and Lex
- Understanding of telecommunications or contact center technologies

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
