GLG’s Enterprise Technology Services team builds the technology eco-system that enables effective and efficient operations for the company globally. Our team of technologists are focused on deploying technology solutions that instrument the business, modernize the systems stack, increase cybersecurity maturity, and enable enterprise productivity.
As the VP of Enterprise Applications at GLG, you will lead the strategy, governance, and evolution of the company’s core business systems portfolio, spanning ERP, HCM, CPQ, CRM, and financial applications. This executive role requires a visionary and execution-focused leader who can align enterprise technology with business goals, driving operational scale, digital transformation, and cross-functional alignment. You will partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to modernize platforms, optimize processes, and deliver enterprise-grade solutions that support GLG’s global growth and operational excellence.
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Define and execute the enterprise applications strategy across ERP, HCM, CRM, CPQ, and financial systems, ensuring alignment with GLG’s global business objectives.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to modernize core systems, improve data integrity, and enable scalable operations across finance, HR, legal, and commercial functions.
• Partner with executive stakeholders to capture strategic and operational requirements, translating them into actionable technology roadmaps.
• Oversee application architecture, vendor selection, and platform governance, ensuring a cohesive and well-integrated enterprise application landscape.
• Drive process automation and systems optimization using tools such as Workato, SQL, and Python, accelerating workflows and improving data accuracy.
• Lead the implementation and continuous enhancement of ERP and CPQ platforms, including configuration, approval workflows, pricing engines, and billing integration.
• Establish and enforce application development standards, change management procedures, and quality assurance practices across the portfolio.
• Provide technical oversight and business guidance on major initiatives, integrations, and platform upgrades, balancing risk, cost, and impact.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team of application and systems professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and delivery.
• Monitor KPIs and business outcomes to ensure application performance, user satisfaction, and continuous improvement across the enterprise.
An ideal candidate will have the following:
• 10+ years of progressive experience owning and driving enterprise applications strategy across ERP, HCM, CRM, CPQ, and financial systems, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; MBA or advanced technical certification a plus.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Salesforce (Sales Cloud and Service Cloud), including at least 5–7 years implementing and optimizing Salesforce CPQ & Billing—covering product modeling, pricing engines, approval workflows, and end-to-end integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to architect and govern integrations between enterprise systems—leveraging middleware such as Workato or equivalent—ensuring robust data flows, high availability, and secure interfaces.
• Strong vendor management and procurement experience, including RFP management, contract negotiation, and performance oversight of SaaS and on-premise solution providers.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence C-suite and cross-functional teams, drive adoption, and shepherd organizational change.
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills—adept at translating complex business challenges into clear technical requirements, scalable processes, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience establishing and enforcing development standards, CI/CD pipelines (preferably in Salesforce environments), and quality assurance frameworks—bonus points for usage-based pricing or metering solutions.
• Proven track record of building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing application teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
