Role Description:
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Containerization Engineer specializing in containerization solutions for complex cloud-based infrastructure at multiple classification levels. Responsibilities include:
- Design container cluster architecture and install, configure, schedule, and troubleshoot the workloads of containers
- Design and implement containerized applications and services
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams
- Optimize performance and ensure scalability of containerized environments
- Maintain high availability of containerized applications
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications
- Monitor and troubleshoot containerized environments
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of containerization practices
- Ensure security best practices are followed in containerized environments
- Automate deployment and scaling processes
- Document containerization processes and procedures
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project goals
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions for containerized applications
Here's what you need:
- Minimum three (3) years of experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm, or others
- Must be fluent in container concepts, including Kubernetes ecosystem, container registries and networking, as well as service mesh integration and DevOps CI/CD chain
- 3 years’ experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
- Knowledge of security best practices in containerized environments
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Strong understanding of different AWS IaaS services, AWS Containers and platform and their associated limitations
- Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment preferred
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Sec+, CISSP, CASP, etc.)
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in SAP and Collateral Information Systems (IS)
- AWS Professional or Associate certification
- Experience with multiple cloud environments, to include Oracle
- Technical certifications, such as Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA), Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers, Docker certification, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator
Security Clearance:
- Must have an Active TS/SCI level clearance
