About the role
Crunchyroll is growing and changing, presenting unique challenges and opportunities to support millions of anime fans around the world. The Crunchyroll Automation and Test Services (CATS) team provides tools for internal teams and external partners to automate the devices our fans enjoy Crunchyroll on. The automation helps us scale to more partners and allows us to share the love of anime with more fans.
We do this through a full stack development approach with hardware to physically interact with the devices, local embedded software to control the device and cloud infrastructure to help coordinate all of the devices. These tools let our teams duplicate a device and run it from anywhere in the world. They also can be used to automate the device testing, helping us find issues before our fans do or detect things not possible with human senses.
