The Work
- Develop Java-based services using Core Java Design Patterns, Spring boot, Hibernate, and Spring Data JPA
- Develop REST and/or SOAP services
- Integrate web applications with a RDBMS, such as SQL Server, to perform CRUD operations
- Develop ETL batch processes
- Develop and enhance reports in SSRS, data analytics, and dashboards
- Analyze and remediate security vulnerabilities from static (SAST), dynamic (DAST), and penetration testing.
Here's What You Need:
- 5+ years of professional experience developing full stack web applications
- Proficient in Java development, Spring Boot, and Spring JPA
- Experience with HTML, as well as Angular and/or React
- Experience with JUnit testing framework
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Prior consulting experience with demonstrated ability to understand customer/business needs.
- Experience leveraging code assist technologies while developing applications (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Gemini Code Assist, Amazon Code Whisperer).
- Experience with Java Application Servers (e.g., Red Hat JBoss)
- Data modeling and ORM tools experience (e.g., Hibernate, JPA)
- Consuming data via service integration (i.e., REST and/or SOAP APIs)
- Architecture and solution design using common design patterns
- Experience using AWS components in solutions
- Experience working in a DevSecOps environment; tools such as Jenkins and Ansible in CI/CD pipelines
- Performance testing and tuning experience
