Job Description:

Accenture Federal Services is looking for a Sr. Oracle Database Engineer to join our team in Washington D.C.

Responsibilities:

Provide expert technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments
Perform high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, and documentation
Offer implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems requiring extensive subject matter knowledge
Participate as needed in all phases of development, with an emphasis on planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases
Specialize in particular software or business applications utilized in an end-user environment
Keep abreast of technological developments and applications to ensure the effective implementation of solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive integration and functionality of systems
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and stakeholders

Here's what you need:

Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience with Oracle Database best practices, concepts, and technologies
One or more of the following experiences required: Enterprise SQL Server Database Services (ESDBS), Security-Threat Assessment and Review Services (S-TARS), and Rapid Application Deployment and Resilience (RADAR) services
Experience supporting a cloud service provider such as AWS and/or Azure
Experience in client engagement and relationship management
Experience in meeting facilitation, coaching, mentorship, and leading a team

Bonus Points if you have:

Ability to stay current with technological developments and applications
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proven experience as an IT Subject Matter Expert or similar role
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Strong mentorship and technical guidance skills

Security Clearance:

Must have an active TS/SCI clearance

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia is:$108,400—$203,400 USD
