Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud Web Applications Lead 100% Remote to drive the technical strategy and architecture for modern, cloud‐native web applications on AWS. This role is highly hands‐on and developer‐focused, supporting custom application development, micro-frontend patterns, and advanced visualization capabilities used in mission‐critical forecasting environments.

What You Will Do:

Lead architecture and design of modern full‐stack applications on AWS
Define standards for micro-frontends and modular application components
Architect frontend and backend solutions using React, TypeScript, and Node.js
Develop strategies for real‐time rendering, complex visualizations, and data‐intensive workflows
Implement scalable patterns for processing large datasets using WebGL, D3.js, and related tools
Establish API, cloud architecture, performance, and security standards
Drive integration approaches across existing application ecosystems
Partner with development and UX teams and provide technical guidance
Build proof‐of‐concepts to evaluate emerging frameworks and visualization techniques

Here's What You'll Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, and 10+ years of full‐stack web application architecture and development experience (including AWS environments)
Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3
Expertise with modern frontend frameworks such as React
Experience with custom application development, micro-frontends, and modular architectures
Experience designing RESTful APIs and cloud‐native backend services
Strong knowledge of WebGL, Realtime rendering, and visualization frameworks such as D3.js

Bonus Points if You Have:

Experience with geospatial or mapping technologies (Google Maps APIs, Open‐source mapping tools)
Experience with AWS‐hosted web applications and cloud deployment strategies
Experience using Generative AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude AI, etc.)
Knowledge of GenAI prompting best practices and reviewing AI‐generated content

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
