The Work:
The Pega Administrator will support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Pega systems within a government environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Pega environments (DEV, TEST, STAGE, PROD) in compliance with government IT policies and security protocols
- Perform installations, upgrades, and patching of the Pega platform and related components
- Monitor application and server performance, availability, and capacity in accordance with SLAs
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, efficient, and stable operations
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and platform issues, including logs, agents, and queue processors
- Maintain documentation of environment configurations, change logs, and recovery procedures
- Support system audits, vulnerability scans, and risk assessments by providing necessary configurations and evidence
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in Pega or enterprise application administration
- Hands-on experience administering Pega PRPC (version 7.x/8.x and above) in a secure enterprise environment
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix, web servers (Tomcat/WebSphere), and databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- Experience with SSL/TLS configurations, firewalls, and secure network practices
- Proficient in scripting (Shell, Python) and experience with automation tools
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace)
- Active government clearance or ability to obtain one
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Pega CSA certification is preferred
- Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and working within Agile or DevSecOps teams
- Familiarity with government security frameworks and compliance standards (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST)

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
