About the Role:
Are you a SailPoint expert ready to lead the charge on a mission-critical federal program? As the SailPoint Lead, you will lead a team of engineers and help shape the future of our client's Zero Trust architecture.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
- Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of complex SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) solutions, ensuring they are scalable, resilient, and aligned with Zero Trust principles.
- Guide a dedicated team of SailPoint developers within an Agile project management framework, fostering technical excellence, professional growth, and a culture of quality.
- Own the development lifecycle from end-to-end, from requirements gathering and application onboarding to final deployment, ensuring all deliverables meet our uncompromising quality standards.
- Develop and maintain the enterprise roadmap for SailPoint, identifying opportunities for automation, improvements, and integrations to enhance security and efficiency.
- Act as the ultimate technical authority for SailPoint IIQ. Review all major design decisions and deliverables, providing expert guidance to both your team and senior client stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cloud engineering, security operations, and service desk teams to ensure seamless operation, integration, and world-class support.
What You Must Bring (Required Qualifications):
- Active or ability to obtain a Secret security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
- 7+ years of hands-on technical experience in the ICAM/cybersecurity domain.
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience leading SailPoint implementation teams, preferably within a federal or DoD environment.
- Proven expertise in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-scale SailPoint IIQ solutions, including custom workflows, rules, and connectors.
- Strong proficiency in Java and BeanShell.
- Extensive experience integrating SailPoint with authoritative sources, enterprise platforms, and PAM solutions (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow, CyberArk).
- Hands-on experience managing application and database infrastructure in a cloud environment (Azure or AWS).
What Will Set You Apart (Preferred Qualifications):
- SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Professional or similar certification.
- Advanced security certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.
- Direct experience supporting DoD Zero Trust initiatives.
- Experience in a DevSecOps environment, using tools like Git, Jenkins, and Ansible for CI/CD and automation.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
