About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of a multi‐team program to migrate Nightshift Tech Specs and Compare pages to a new Rome UI design system and the Contenta headless CMS platform.

This role sits at the intersection of design, front‐end engineering, and content operations, ensuring high‐quality, pixel-perfect interactive experiences are delivered on time while enabling new data‐driven workflows.

You will own day‐to‐day program and project management, roadmap orchestration, and delivery management for all sections/components, platform integrations, and sustaining updates across NPI (new product introduction) and maintenance cycles.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Delivery Management

  • Own and maintain the end‐to‐end delivery plan for migrating Tech Spec and Compare pages to the new Rome UI design system and Contenta platform across multiple quarters.
  • Define milestones, releases, and success criteria for component, template, and page‐level deliveries; maintain always‐current schedules, risks, and dependencies.
  • Drive execution across design, front‐end development, QA, and content management teams to meet agreed‐upon timelines and quality bars.
  • Manage delivery management aspects: scope, prioritization, sequencing, and alignment with NPI and sustain roadmaps.

Project Execution & Coordination

  • Provide hands‐on project management for:
    • Migration/transition of existing Nightshift pages to the new design system and technology stack.
    • Coordination and delivery of shared sections/components and integration of new capabilities.
    • Ongoing updates to Tech Spec and Compare pages during sustain and launch cycles.
  • Plan and run project kickoffs, discovery sessions, and production handoff meetings with clear inputs/outputs, owners, and timelines.
  • Coordinate cross‐repository and multi‐team workstreams (design system, component engineering, Contenta integration, page builds) ensuring dependencies are understood and managed.

Cross‐Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the primary operational liaison between:
    • Marcom Interactive producers and design teams
    • MP&S front‐end engineering and QA
    • Contenta platform/content management stakeholders
    • Other internal Nightshift partners as required
  • Ensure seamless design–engineering–content handoffs, clarifying requirements, constraints, and acceptance criteria for components, schemas, and page templates.
  • Facilitate decisions on trade‐offs between scope, quality, and schedule, escalating effectively when needed.

Quality, Process & Change Management

  • Partner with QA leads to plan and manage QA cycles, including test planning, defect triage, sign‐off criteria, and release readiness reviews.
  • Ensure all deliveries meet requirements for: visual fidelity, accessibility (AX/a11y), analytics, SEO, and CMS/Contenta structure.
  • Define, document, and help implement new workflows to move from static builds to an editor‐based, Contenta‐driven workflow (including visual editor usage).
  • Lead change management activities:
    • Communicate process and tooling changes to partner teams.
    • Support onboarding and training to new workflows and technologies.
    • Gather feedback and iterate on processes for efficiency and scalability.

Roadmap, Documentation & Communication

  • Maintain a clear, documented roadmap for centrally managing Tech Specs and Compare pages, including migration phases, enhancements, and sustain work.
  • Create and maintain project documentation such as status reports, decision logs, risk registers, and RAID logs.
  • Develop decks/presentations to support internal reviews, status updates, and stakeholder briefings.
  • Provide transparent, proactive communication on progress, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership and cross‐functional stakeholders.

Governance & Risk Management

  • Establish and run regular governance ceremonies (standups, sprint planning/reviews, release readiness, dependency reviews).
  • Identify and manage program risks, issues, and blockers; drive resolution by collaborating with engineering leads, product/design owners, and platform teams.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and guardrails across design systems, engineering practices, content modeling, and data integrity.

Required Experience & Skills

Core Project/Program Management

  • 8+ years of project/program management experience in a digital, web, or product‐focused environment; significant experience working with engineering & design teams.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, multi‐quarter technical programs with multiple parallel workstreams and dependencies.
  • Strong command of project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid) and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet/Asana).
  • Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, and resources in environments with shifting priorities and ambiguity.

Technical Fluency

  • Solid understanding of modern front‐end stacks and concepts sufficient to engage deeply with engineers and make informed trade‐offs, e.g.:
    • Component‐based UI development, design systems, responsive design.
    • JavaScript/TypeScript, JSX/Handlebars, React, server‐side rendering concepts.
    • Headless CMS architectures, API‐driven content delivery, JSON schemas.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation (schemas, API contracts, component specs) and translate into clear project tasks and milestones.
  • Familiarity with QA and testing concepts (test plans, regression, automation signals) and how they integrate into release pipelines.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting complex program updates to both technical and non‐technical stakeholders.
  • Strong facilitation skills for cross‐functional meetings, workshops, and decision sessions.
  • Ability to build trust and influence without direct authority across design, engineering, content, and operations teams.

Execution & Detail Orientation

  • High attention to detail, especially for pixel‐perfect, design‐driven experiences.
  • Track record of driving efficiency: improving workflows, reducing handoff friction, and increasing throughput while preserving quality.
  • Comfortable operating in fast‐paced environments with competing priorities and tight timelines (e.g., NPI launches).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing large‐scale marketing or e-commerce web programs for global brands.
  • Background working with or around:
    • Design systems and shared UI component libraries.
    • Headless CMS platforms and schema‐driven content models.
    • Accessibility, localization, SEO, and analytics requirements for web experiences.
  • Experience with trunk‐based development, multi‐repo workflows, and CI/CD concepts.
  • Agile/Scrum or PMP certification is a plus.

Success Metrics

  • On‐time delivery of Tech Spec and Compare page migrations against quarterly targets (Q1–Q4).
  • Reliable, repeatable process for design–engineering–content collaboration and handoff.
  • Measurable reduction in defects and rework across releases.
  • High stakeholder satisfaction (Marcom, MP&S, Contenta, and leadership) with communication, visibility, and quality of outcomes.
  • Established, documented, and adopted roadmap and operating model for centrally managing Tech Specs and Compare pages.
