Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud Platform Architect who will oversee application architecture and deployment in cloud platform environments -- including public cloud, private cloud and hybrid cloud. This can include cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring.
Job Summary & Responsibilities:
As a Cloud Platform Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and maintaining cutting-edge cloud and hybrid environments tailored to meet the unique needs of Department of Defense (DoD) air-gapped systems. You will lead efforts to architect and implement virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions across on-premises and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Your expertise will be critical in planning and executing cloud migration strategies, particularly in highly secure, non-connected environments, while adhering to rigorous DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards to achieve IATT/ATO accreditation. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating holistic solutions that integrate front-end user experiences with robust back-end programming, leveraging your deep understanding of automation workflows and advanced networking concepts. In this role, you will utilize a diverse set of tools and technologies to deliver innovative solutions. Your work will involve creating and managing Ansible Roles, Playbooks, and JINJA2 templates to build complex systems in environments without direct network connectivity. You will also rely on your advanced Linux administration skills, including BASH scripting, to manage and automate workflows. Proficiency in YAML and JSON will be essential for handling data types and managing objects during automation processes. Furthermore, you will work with enterprise networking technologies, including IPSEC VPN design, DMVPN, BGP, VxLAN, and dynamic failover in high-availability scenarios, as well as virtual systems and networking tools like VMware, vSphere, and Horizon. Your ability to troubleshoot and resolve internal and external Layer 3 networking issues on the fly will be a key asset in this position.
What you’ll need:
- 10 years of experience in at least two of the following:
- Advanced networking on a large-scale while leveraging concepts such as [Layer 3] IPSEC VPN design, DMVPN, BGP, and [Layer 2] STP, VxLAN, and dynamic failover in HA scenarios
- BASH and Linux scripting including Linux administration
- Designing and implementing small applications for ad-hoc or newly discovered challenges
- YAML and JSON leveraging data types for managing objects during automation workflows
- EGP and IGP routing protocols with demonstrated implementation and ability to troubleshoot external or internal layer 3 issues on the fly
- Virtual systems and virtual networking administration (NXT, VMWare, vSphere, Horizon)
- 4 years of experience in at least two of the following:
- Deploying and configuring virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) for on-prem and cloud [hybrid] environment in Azure and/or AWS
- Experience as a technical lead on cloud migration efforts in DoD environments, specifically air-gapped, while responsible for planning, architecting, implementing, and maintaining the platform
- Architecting and implementing solutions where front-end/UX and back-end programming were written and combined to create a holistic solution
- Ansible Roles, Playbooks, and JINJA2 templates related to non-connected environments to build complex systems without direct network connectivity at run-time
- Must understand the RMF process and requirements to achieve IATT/ATO accreditation during the Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes
- IAT/IAM LEVEL II certified
Clearance:
- Must have an active TS/SCI level clearance
