Role Overview:
The Security Architect will be responsible for implementing and overseeing security capabilities, processes, and functions related to Network Security, Cloud Security, Data Security, Endpoint Security, and asset management for the Program. Reporting to the Security Operations deputy director, this role requires collaboration with developers, technical architects, operations, and other security team members to achieve program objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide technical security architecture guidance in the assessment, design and implementation of service in a primarily cloud environment
- Collaborate with network, cloud and infrastructure teams to embed security and best practices into applications and development process
- Serve as manager for security engineering team which includes a team of cross functional engineers working in Network Security, Cloud Security, Data Security, Endpoint Security, and Asset Management
- Lead security engineering team in cross program Agile Planning and Project Management efforts Interface with client security teams to provide guidance on security risks and initiatives
- Contribute to maturing process, policy, and standards guidance in a rapidly changing field and environment
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses for projects across the account Develop and maintain documentation related to security protocols, compliance measures, and incident response plans
- Identify and solution for gaps related to system zero trust maturity
- Serve as the program security engineering SME across the program, provide SME support during audits, client conversations, across the program, and with senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Security Engineering
- 3+ years of experience with cloud environments AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- 2+ years of experience with Security Architecture and Threat Modeling ( for example, formal framework Stride, Pasta, Maestro)
- 2+ years of experience developing with a high-level programming language such as PowerShell, Python, Go and or Java Built
- Operating experience with the following tools: CrowdStrike Falcon Platform, Splunk SPL, AWS Security Services, Azure Security Services, GCP Security Services, Axonius, Datasunrise (DAM), Okta, and zScaler
- Experience working in a regulated environment and experience with common Cyber Security Frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS, CISA Zero Trust, FISMA, ISO 27k, and TIC 3.0.
- Experience working in safe agile development environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity
- Experience with developer tools such as Ansible, Cloud Formation, Git, Jenkins, or Jira, Terraform, VS Code
- Experience in instrumenting security through CI/CD tools Experience maintaining WAF products such as AWS WAF or similar
- Experience with Akamai CDN and Security Services
- Experience with Zscalar SASE products
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
