Who We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team and work cross-functionally within the MLaaS and HPC teams. This role requires the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and non-technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in software development, DevOps, and API creation, along with a proven ability to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

The candidate's technical proficiency should be complemented by a consultant mindset, including excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mentality, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in high-pressure situations. Overall, we are looking for a candidate who is excited about being part of a high performing group and will be energized to help the team succeed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and take direction from enterprise architects to align software development with business goals.
• Complete and optimize the DevOps process, building on an existing Jenkins setup.
• Write and implement unit tests to improve code reliability and coverage while streamlining CI/CD processes.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs to support application functionality and integrations.
• Program and develop solutions using Python, C++, and GraphQL.
• Ensure scalability and performance of the software solutions for the MLaaS and HPC teams.

Some Must-Haves

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and related tools (Jenkins, GitLab/GitHub).
• Expertise in creating and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in programming languages and the ability to learn new languages/frameworks as needed (e.g., Python, C++, and GraphQL).
• Willingness to learn the HPC and MLaaS environments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• A problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and a focus on delivering robust solutions

Other Information

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required. Salary dependent upon experience.

Compensation Package (Salary Transparency For US Based Employees)

• Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000+
  • Salary is negotiable and the range can be increased based on qualifications, certifications and experience
