Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud Engineer to work in an Agile IT environment establishing a cloud-based technology in a government provided hybrid cloud environment with security, performance, operability, and scale for customers utilizing client's technology. Your tasks will be ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of cloud-based services and infrastructure for our clients or organization. You will work closely with development teams, system administrators, and customers to troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, optimize cloud environments, and support the deployment and maintenance of cloud applications. Additionally, you will help develop and articulate cloud technology roadmaps, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring alignment with business goals. Your expertise will help drive the successful adoption and utilization of cloud technologies.
The Work:
- Offer a thorough understanding of ML, data analysis, data visualization, and event-driven architectures.
- Collaborate with end-users to optimize integration and user-experience.
- Develop cloud reference architectures in support of customer requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and articulate cloud technology roadmaps that drive strategic initiatives.
- Ensure that cloud roadmaps align with business goals and support long-term growth and scalability.
- Work closely with development teams to support the deployment and operation of cloud-based applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve cloud-related issues and improve overall system performance.
- Provide training and guidance to junior team members and customers on cloud technologies and best practices.
Here’s what you need:
- 12+ years of experience
- Bachelor’s Degree; a degree can be substituted with another 4 years of experience
- Experience working with databases, computer, storage, and networks in Azure
- Hands on experience performing a Cloud Migration or a Cloud Modernization project
Bonus points if you have:
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and under tight deadlines
- Ability to articulate options and pros and cons of a different options
- Experience in the defense IT contracting industry
- Field specific skills or certifications related to Azure Cloud development
- Experience with code assistive and AI technologies to increase development speed and quality
- Obtained relevant Cloud certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect or AWS Cloud Practitioner
- Worked with container and serverless technologies (i.e., AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, Azure Functions etc.)
- Exposure to DevOps Methodologies by using orchestration tools (i.e., Chef, Ansible, etc.)
Security Clearance:
- Must have an active Secret clearance

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
