Who We're Looking For
We’re looking for a Senior Site Reliability & Security Engineer to take ownership of all things infrastructure, reliability, and security for a major client in the technology space. This person will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, scalability, performance, and security of complex distributed systems.
You’ll serve as the top infrastructure and security engineer on the team — driving automation, refining DevOps practices, and ensuring the platform meets enterprise-grade standards of uptime and protection.

Primary Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure for high-availability applications.
- Lead efforts around system reliability, scalability, and performance tuning.
- Develop and implement automation strategies for provisioning, deployment, and monitoring.
- Ensure security best practices are implemented across environments (network, data, access).
- Define and manage Terraform templates and Azure infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support development, deployment, and operational needs.
- Proactively identify bottlenecks, risks, and security vulnerabilities — and fix them before they impact users.
Some Must-Haves:
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong expertise in Azure and Terraform.
- Proven experience managing security, monitoring, and automation in production environments.
- Solid understanding of networking, cloud security, and infrastructure scaling.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
Nice to Have:
- Experience in compliance-heavy or regulated industries (finance, healthcare, etc.).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with incident response, threat detection, or vulnerability management.

- Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000+

Other Information
The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
