The work:
- Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security.
- Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.
- The team integrates data from centralized and local system sources, ensuring effective and timely responses to cybersecurity events.
- As a capability development provider, they create new applications, algorithms, and automation to optimize workflows and improve data analysis.
- Additionally, they collaborate to integrate security requirements into technical solutions and conduct ongoing research to incorporate emerging technologies, enhancing the organization’s overall cybersecurity posture.
- Their work ensures that tools and infrastructure remain operational, resilient, and adaptable to evolving threats.
Here's what you need:
- Experience with Linux based environment administration
- Experience testing, implementing, deploying, maintaining, and administering infrastructure hardware and software for cybersecurity.
- Experience developing, creating, modifying, and maintaining computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs for cybersecurity.
- Experience integrating third-party components, the introduction of new custom capabilities, modification of existing code, process improvement recommendation, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks
- Experience with Splunk, Oracle/SQL based platforms, and python
- Preferred Certifications:
- Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA)
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Associate
Education Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree required
Bonus points if you have:
- Previous consulting experience and understanding customer/business needs
- Experience in software development and agile methodologies in a collaborative environment using Git or Subversion
- Experience working with and troubleshooting production workloads, including using application and system monitoring tools
- Experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP
