You will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven insights and solutions, balancing hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities. You will mentor a team of 3-4 data scientists, fostering skill development while actively contributing to complex analyses, predictive modeling, and data integration initiatives. With a focus on high-quality, rapid-turnaround deliverables, you will leverage expertise in Microsoft Azure Databricks, SQL, Python, and healthcare data to solve real-world challenges.
The work:
- Expert Data Analysis & Modeling: Lead multiple concurrent ad hoc and descriptive analyses while applying advanced predictive modeling techniques to extract meaningful insights that drive business decisions.
- Efficient Project Execution: Navigate tight timelines while ensuring that high-quality deliverables meet both technical and strategic expectations.
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to a team of data scientists, encouraging professional growth, problem-solving, and collaboration within a fast-paced environment.
- Comprehensive Data Engineering & Integration: Utilize expertise in Microsoft Azure, SQL, and Databricks to design and optimize multi-source data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and accessibility.
Here’s what you need:
- 5-7 years of direct experience driving data-driven insights and solutions
- Experience in Data Modeling to support predictive analytics using healthcare data (e.g., Claims, Pharmacy, etc.)
- Experience with programming in a notebook environment (e.g., Microsoft Azure Databricks, Jupyter, Snowflake, etc.)
- Proficient with Python for conducting statistical computing
- Ability to manage multiple, concurrent data analyses projects from end-to-end
- Experience leading and developing a team of Data Scientists along with your own contributions as an Individual Contributor
Bonus points if you have:
- Health-related or Computer science degree
