Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain SOC/NOC tools, such as SIEM, SOAR, and network monitoring systems.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, resource utilization, and tool configurations.
- Ensure proper integration and functionality of SOC/NOC tools.
- Implement security controls, apply system updates, and conduct regular patching.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to NOC/SOC operations.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation and system management.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of IT System Administration experience supporting one or more of the following: Networking, Linux, Cloud, Windows, or Microsoft platforms.
- Experience administering SOC and/or NOC tools (e.g., SIEM, SOAR, or network monitoring tools).
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or relevant vendor certifications).
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
