Your Role:
Tenable Cloud Security is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. As a leading provider of cloud security solutions, Tenable empowers organizations to protect their most critical assets across complex cloud environments. We are a technically driven, collaborative, and innovative team that values excellence, teamwork, and customer success. In this role, you will be instrumental in understanding our clients’ business and technical needs, and translating them into scalable, effective, and secure cloud solutions. You will collaborate closely with our Sales, Engineering, and Product Management teams to design, deliver, and optimize solutions that align with client goals and industry best practices. Your technical expertise and strategic insight will help ensure successful solution design, implementation, and long-term adoption.
Your Opportunity:
- Partner with customers to understand their business objectives, security challenges, and technical environments.
- Conduct in-depth assessments of current infrastructure, architecture, and security postures.
- Architect scalable and effective cloud security solutions leveraging industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
- Translate customer requirements into detailed technical designs and solution proposals.
- Lead technical delivery efforts in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Provide hands-on guidance throughout implementation, integration, and deployment phases.
- Support troubleshooting and optimization of deployed solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on cloud security, staying current on emerging trends, standards, and technologies.
- Advise customers on best practices in identity and access management (IAM), data protection, encryption, network security, and compliance.
- Define measurable success criteria, KPIs, and performance benchmarks for customer deployments.
- Foster trusted, long-term relationships with customers, acting as an advocate and strategic advisor.
- Identify opportunities for solution expansion, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Contribute to internal knowledge bases, best practices, and technical documentation.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers and internal teams to enhance product and security understanding.
What You’ll Need:
- 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar technical leadership role, preferably within the cybersecurity industry.
- Strong understanding of cloud security concepts, technologies, and frameworks, including IAM, encryption, data protection, network security, and compliance standards.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proven ability to design and implement solutions using leading cloud security tools and services.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple customer engagements in a fast-paced environment.
And Ideally:
- Relevant professional certifications that validate your cloud security expertise, such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and/or AWS Certified Security – Specialty.
- Experience with CNAPP (Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform) or CSPM (Cloud Security Posture Management) tools.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Working knowledge of API and GraphQL technologies for integrating and extending cloud security solutions.

This is the base pay range for this position. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance.
