At Sigma, our GTM stack is our product’s first and most important proving ground. As the Director, GTM Architecture, you are the lead architect of our revenue engine. You will own the technical design, integration logic, and data integrity of our entire GTM ecosystem. We are looking for a "Builder-First" leader—someone who is an expert in Salesforce and Clay, and who views the tech stack not as a collection of apps, but as a scalable, automated platform for growth. This role will report to VP Revenue Operations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- GTM System Architecture & Design
- Technical Blueprinting: Design and maintain the end-to-end architecture of the GTM stack (Salesforce, Clay, Outreach, LeanData, 6sense, etc.), ensuring all systems are extensible, resilient, and strategically aligned.
- SaaS Takeout Engineering: Partner with the Data and Data Engineering teams to build internal, Sigma-driven replacements for legacy SaaS tools, moving logic into the data warehouse where it belongs.
- Lead & Account Orchestration: Architect sophisticated, signal-based routing and territory management flows that ensure the right opportunities reach the right reps at the right time.
- Expert-Level Tool Strategy (Clay & SFDC)
- Clay Mastery: Act as the internal lead for Clay, building advanced outbound and enrichment waterfalls that leverage AI and multi-source data to create a competitive advantage for our SDR and AE teams.
- Salesforce Ownership: Oversee the SFDC instance as a strategic asset, ensuring custom objects, flows, and integrations are built for long-term scalability rather than short-term fixes.
- The "Sigma on Sigma" Vision: Become the resident expert on using Sigma to power GTM. Identify and build new internal use cases where Sigma acts as the "intelligence layer" for our architectural decisions.
- Data Governance & Signal Activation
- Data Flow Integrity: Work closely with Data Engineering to ensure high-integrity data pipelines feed our GTM systems. Own the logic for data enrichment, de-duplication, and firmographic accuracy.
- Signal Activation: Translate GTM strategy into technical "signals"—ensuring intent data, product usage, and firmographics trigger the correct automated workflows across the stack.
- Tech Stack ROI & Lifecycle
- Stack Consolidation: Ruthlessly evaluate the ROI of every tool. Identify overlaps and lead the migration or sunsetting of redundant technologies.
- Vendor Management: Own the technical relationships and contract negotiations for all GTM platforms, ensuring our stack evolves alongside our business needs.
Who You Are:
- The Systems Visionary: You don’t just "fix" tools; you design systems. You understand how a change in a Clay waterfall impacts a Salesforce report and a downstream Sigma dashboard.
- Expert Builder: You are a power user of Salesforce (Flows, CPQ, etc.) and Clay. You enjoy the "puzzle" of connecting disparate APIs and data sets into an elegant workflow.
- Data-First Thinker: You believe that a clean data warehouse is the foundation of a successful GTM motion. You are comfortable speaking SQL and collaborating with Data Engineers on complex schemas.
- High-Velocity Operator: You thrive in a fast-paced environment where the "right" answer today must also be the "scalable" answer for next year.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in GTM Systems, Revenue Architecture, or Sales Ops Technology.
- Technical Mastery: Deep, hands-on expertise in Salesforce (Admin/Architect level) and Clay. Experience with LeanData, Outreach, LeadIQ, and Zoominfo is highly preferred.
- Engineering Mindset: Proven track record of building custom internal solutions or "takeouts" to replace rigid off-the-shelf software.
- Collaborative Leader: Ability to partner with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering leaders to define a unified technical roadmap.
- Sigma Fluent: Proficiency with modern BI tools (Sigma preferred) and a strong grasp of data modeling and SQL.
Bonus Points
- AI/Automation Pioneer: Experience deploying LLM-powered agents or autonomous GTM workflows (e.g., using Clay or custom Python scripts).
- Developer Mindset: Experience with Apex, SOQL, or low-code/no-code application development.
- Community/Network: Active involvement in the RevOps or GTM leadership community.
